He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden man’-na, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
When we overcome or let go of the world, we become free to experience the spiritual energy which surrounds us at all times. This Spiritual Energy, the hidden man’-na, is the energy that we all seek. The hidden man’-na is love. When we let go and overcome the world we receive the hidden man’-na and experience self love.
Love is the very thing that we all desire, yet seek in so many different but indirect ways. If we were to be honest with ourselves and really look at the root of nearly everything we do, we would find that ultimately, what we seek from them is Love.
What this verse says, is truly a revelation, because it is making it clear that all we need to do to receive this hidden man’-na, Love, is to overcome the world.
My revelation to the world is this, to overcome the world, we simply need to be honest about our needs of it and then choose to let go of them. The moment we do, the doorway to the hidden man’-na is open.
When we truly surrender our needs of the world and choose to be fed from within, the whole picture changes. We will no longer need to go outside of ourselves and do the things we thought might bring us love.
The verse Revelation 3:12 confirms this by saying the following: “Him that overcometh will I make a pillar in the temple of God, and he shall go no more out:”
Names, this verse also speaks of receiving a new name because Jesus understood the power and meaning behind names. Jesus changed the names of his disciples because he understood that this would change their character or personality.
It is our personality or ego that, in fact, blocks us from receiving the hidden man’-na. Our world becomes what our ego thinks it is and we get lost in a perpetual game of feeding our ego’s needs. Our ego believes it needs to be fed in certain ways in order to experience love. The pitfall of this is that we become subject or enslaved to anything that we believe will bring us love.
It is in this time that the truth be revealed. Our name creates our personality and the way we see the world is a result of the character our name creates.
We can come to terms with who we truly are and who we truly are not and move into a place of love and direct contact with our full power.
