During this time I was receiving huge amounts of harassing emails. All seem to have a similar pattern, namely large companies that no matter how many times I unsubscribed would keep sending me emails. Some companies such as Big 5 Sporting Goods only stopped after I contacted every attorney in the offices listed as their legal representative.
While SPAM from the Whitehouse was not as numerous it also wouldn’t stop despite my request to stop. Here is one request to stop and an image (modified) of receipt confirmation.
On November 03, 2020 @ 12:07pm I contacted the Whitehouse regarding the problem:
“The administrator of your Whitehouse newsletter contacted me in violation of the CAN SPAM act. What department or agency would I contact about your violation?
Thank you,
Michael Stephens”
